The funds from the program go exclusively towards acquiring new work for the Clonakilty Arts Centre’s permanent collection with the aim of creating a permanent art collection for Clonakilty and eventually an art museum to house it.

The benefits of becoming a friend of the gallery include:

• Having your business listed as a benefactor (optional).
• Receiving an annual printed booklet of new acquisitions.
• Being invited to exclusive friends of the gallery collector and art history seminars.
• Social standing for your business for contributing to an inaugural art collection for the town of Clonakilty.
• Business members may also be eligible to become exhibition partners and display work in the collection on their premises for a limited time.
